There was a very busy pit road on Saturday for the Lockhart Trucks 150 Pro Stock race. With a field of nearly 26 cars for the pro stocks, another 24 for the Sportsman series and nearly 10 racers in the Trucks division, space was definitely at a premium. It’s nice to see all the activity and the pits area at Scotia turns into a small city during these events.

The weather was fantastic with just enough cloud cover to keep the track a little cooler for more traction and as race time approached and the sun started to set, the sky cleared and made for a spectacular sunset over the fading laps of the 150 lap feature race.

For more details of the race itself, please visit the Pro Stock tour web site or Tim’s Corner to read all the highlights. John Flemming has now won 2 of the first 3 races this year and looks like he’s on a mission.

I guess we’ll see how things go at the Lucas Oil 150 this coming weekend at Petty International Raceway in Petticodiac, NB. Hope to see you there. 🙂
