Clothing Designer Session – Kaidáin Ivy’s Sanctuary for Magical Misfits
A few months ago, I was asked to join local fantasy clothing designer, Kaidain Ivy, to help photograph her latest lingerie and shoe collection along with one of my favorite local models, Ophelia Lai.
We decided to take advantage of my regular suite at the Inn On The Lake in Fall River since it was already booked for two client shoots that weekend and it is an amazing space. We brought in the incredible make-up artist from our dynamite team, Bryana Doyscher and spent a little time to talk about the theme and concept for the shoot.
Kaidain’s latest collection embraces feminine empowerment and the idea of getting in touch with your inner self. The collection features strategically placed shapes resembling hands and jewels that Kaidain calls “Clit Bling” to celebrate female sexuality and the empowerment of the female body.
We had an utter black shooting this series for her catalog and web site and I hope you enjoy it as well.
