Fine Art – “Lights” Session

Published by Mike McCarthy on

One of my favorite things to do is experiment with light and use it in new and interesting ways. It’s been a little while, but I had a friend and model visiting from out west and decided to try out some of the unique Christmas lights I picked up in the Boxing Day clearance specials that I thought might make for some interesting light sources and props for future photo shoots. Ellen, as always, was eager to get into the studio and try something new. She exercised a lot of patience as I tweaked the lights… Moved the lights. Moved the lights again… And again… And tweaked things yet again. LOL! Creating a piece of art takes time and lots of patience. What else can I say? But after all that, the results were worth the effort.

Hope you enjoy the results!
