“Hot Ride” Glamour Session with K
For this shoot, we scouted the old parking structure on Chebucto Rd in Halifax where we could use a parkade as the backdrop while being relatively secluded and without a lot of “witnesses” coming and going during our shoot. It was a perfect spot and since it was under construction by the new owner at the time, the only security cameras we found were near the elevator and entrance to the office section of the building. Perfect. 🙂
I was assisted on this shoot by two good friends, Tim and Rory. Rory was also the owner of the Porsche we used for the shoot.
The images were lit using a couple of speedlights with one in a home made portable soft box to provide some specular highlights on the car while the other was in a pop-up 20″ octabox as a key light. I tried to incorporate the natural ambiance as much as possible as well.
The model, Miss K, was visiting from Toronto and told us on this trip that she loved Nova Scotia and was planning to move to Halifax in the new year. It’s nice to see talented people moving *in* rather than leaving…
Enjoy the images!
