Hotel Boudoir with Miss C
It’s been a bit of a challenge staying creative over the last couple of years as this ongoing pandemic has shut us down yet again. That included updating and writing blog posts here too, so I apologize for not being more active with updates and sharing new work. I do have several clients and model concepts planned as soon as we can start offering our full services of hair and makeup again. Fingers crossed that we will be able to offer sessions again later this month.
In the meantime, I was recently contacted by a client who booked a her session with us last spring and wanted to let me know how happy she was with her session. She also wanted to give me permission to share a limited set of her session images. I was thrilled with this news as I was very pleased with her session.
As much as I love sharing our work with you, our potential clients, past clients and friends and fans alike, as I have said many times, our client’s privacy overrides any desire to share their images in any way. So you can probably imagine how excited I was to be able to share this set of images our #DreamTeam helped create last spring at a beautiful boutique B&B we’ve used a few times over the last couple of years.
Sadly, this spot has been sold and is under new management and they are not interested in maintaining the special pricing we had in place with the previous owners for client sessions and the new owners have nearly doubled the rental price too, so we are actively looking for a new location and partner we can work with. It’s challenging with the current rental rates in Halifax, but we won’t give up! 🙂
On to shooting with Miss C and the incredible results. Miss C was quite nervous and shy when we sat down to start makeup with the incredible Bryana but by the time we were ready to start shooting, she had warmed up and relaxed considerably and as you can see from the images her smile lights up the room and the power and strength she possesses shines through. Remember, this is only a small subset of her final images and the rest that I can’t share are simply amazing, but you’ll just have to trust me on that. 🙂
